Flexible working available for an experienced night-time Care Assistant within Leicester.
We are currently looking for an experienced night-time care assistant to provide waking night cover for some beautiful care homes within Leicester City.
You will be working alongside a friendly team looking after the elderly residents throughout the night. The residents suffer with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s as well as some residents who are recovering on respite, therefore, supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.
Throughout the night you will be:
– Conducting well-being checks (including repositioning as required)
– Doing personal care when required on both males and females
– Assisting with mobility (inc. Hoists, Slings, Rotundas)
– Completing domestic duties as required
– Responding to resident’s buzzers as and when required

To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date mandatory training (inc. practical moving and handling training)
– A Referenceable work history (covering a minimum of 3 years)
– At least 3 months of previous experience within a UK based care home setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
