IMMEDIATE STARTS FOR EXPERIENCED SUPPORT WORKERS – Our client in the Worksop Area is seeking experienced Support Workers to work within their lovely Care Home supporting their regular care staff in providing a high standard of care. This care home has the facilities for 18 residents and specialises in supporting individuals with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and promotes independent living skills.
As an experienced Support Worker it is desirable that you have experience of dealing with clients with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. You will be assisting them in their activities of daily living to stimulate and improve their quality of life. You will be required to work on a one to one basis with specific residents and will take part in activities outside of the home itself with the support from the established team of Carers.
You will be expected to work alongside the established team of Carers in providing a complex care package tailored to individual needs. We require our Support Workers to have sound qualifications in Health and Social Care with all your relevant mandatory training being relevant and up to date. This role is both physically and mentally demanding so you must have relevant care experience.

• Have 3 months experience within a similar care environment
• Have a checkable work history
• Have up to date mandatory training documents, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults, Moving & Handling and Infection Control. Should you not have up to date certificates we can offer online training.
• Have an in date enhanced DBS check. Should your DBS have expired we can offer the facility to arrange a new one for you.
