We have a flexible role available for an experienced Support Worker working in a supported living unit in Derby
Within this role you will be offering 2-2-1 support to a young adult service user, helping them learn the necessary life skills to be able to live independently.
The service user may have had traumatic experiences previously therefore, this role requires a calm and patient person to help them overcome their past and have a brighter future.
You will be following plans which help the service users with everyday tasks such as cooking, cleaning, personal care and leaving the house to do activities.

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Support Worker you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 3 months experience within a similar setting
If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this. We are happy to offer online training available at a subsidised fee and the certificates are yours to keep!
