Do you have Care Assistant or Support Worker jobs near me?
QS Care currently supply residential care homes, nursing care homes and supported living units throughout Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and South Yorkshire
What kind of care jobs do QS Care have?
QS Care cover a wide variety of roles in areas such as – dementia, elderly, mental health, learning difficulties, one to one and offer work for Care Assistants, Senior Care Assistants, Support Workers, Domestic Staff, Cleaners, Cooks/Chefs, Admin Support.
Do I need a DBS to work for a care agency?
Yes, every one of our Care Workers and Support Workers has an enhanced DBS before they go out to work. If you don’t have an in date enhanced DBS, QS Care can apply for one on your behalf
Do I need in date training certificates to work for a care agency?
Don’t worry if your training certificates are out of date, we can offer online training covering a range of topics – and you get to keep your certificate!
Do I need previous care or support worker experience to work for a Care agency?
Yes, QS Care ask that you are able to prove a minimum of 3 months prior experience within the UK
Will I have to provide references to get agency work with QS Care?
Yes, we cannot offer any work until we have references in place
Do QS Care gain references for their workers?
Yes we do! None of our workers are offered any bookings until we have secured sufficient references for them.
Does QS Care offer an out of hours service?
Yes we do! We offer a genuine 24 hour service, 365 days per year! Simply call the normal office number and you will be put through to our own on call consultant. As we don’t outsource our service you can rest assured that you will receive the same level of service as you would during office hours.
Do QS staff have hands on care experience?
Yes they do! We insist that all our care staff have previous experience within a professional care environment. We do not accept anyone who has only undergone classroom training.
How do QS Care brief their care workers?
An initial conversation is held with the carer to discuss the role and determine whether it is a suitable match. Once the booking has verbally been accepted by the worker, a written confirmation is issued which covers all aspects of the booking.
