Experienced Weekend Care Assistant required for flexible, weekly paid hours in the Alfreton area.
We are looking for experienced Care Assistant to cover weekend hours at a care home based in the Swanick area of Alfreton. You will be caring for the needs of the residents throughout the shift and providing support to the existing team.
Typical duties will include:
– Personal care on both males and females
– Assisting with mobility (inc. Hoist, Slings, Rotundas)
– Serving meals to the residents
– Recording basic information (i.e Fluids)
– Domestic duties as required
We are looking for someone who is available during the weekends and is able to reliably commute to the Swanick area for all shift time through the weekend, including Sunday mornings.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
– Up to date mandatory training
– Full up-to-date CV with employment history
– At least 2 years referenceable experience working within formal care settings
– Be able to provide reference details for two previous care employers, including the most recent employer.
