Are you an experienced Care Assistant looking to pick up additional hours that fit around your life?
We are looking for experienced Care Assistants to cover sickness and holidays in a care home that provides short term residential care to elderly service users with a range of age-related conditions.
You will be working alongside the established team of Carers to provide an individualised plan of care considering the personal health needs and requirements of the residents.
Throughout your shift you will be:
– Providing personal care to both male and females
– Assisting with mobility (inc. Hoists, Slings, Rotunda etc)
– Serving meals to the residents based around their dietary needs
– Completing domestic duties as required
– Recording basic information (such as fluid intake etc)
We are looking for a flexible individual that is available at shorter notice for those times where additional support is required.
To be suitable for this position you must have:
– An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
– Up to date mandatory training
– Full up-to-date CV with employment history
– At least 2 years referenceable experience working within formal care settings
– Be able to provide reference details for two previous care employers, including the most recent employer.
