We are looking for experienced Senior Care Assistants to work up to 3 shifts per week within an award-winning residential care home in the Retford area.
The home caters for up to 22 elderly residents The residents suffer with age related illnesses such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s, therefore, supporting their mental and physical well-being is of the utmost importance.
As a Senior Care Assistant you will assist with co-ordinating the team to ensure that the residents recieve the best possible standard of care. You will be conducting the medication rounds ensuring that the residents recieve their correct medication at the correct times.
You will be expected to complete housekeeping tasks, follow individual care plans, ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed and accurately report condition updates / incidents to senior staff members.
Staff meals and refreshments are provided for you to enjoy whilst on your break.

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of Senior Care Assistant you will need:
– An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
– Hold in-date training certificates or have the facilitiy to pay for these.
– Be comfortable with MARs and the safe administration of medication
– A Referenceable work history
– At least 6 months experience working as a Senior Care Assistant within a similar setting
– NVQ lvl 3 in Health and Social Care would be ideal
Due to the location of the home, it is essential that you have your own transport.
