Do you love community care but not a fan of the travelling? We might have the perfect role for you!

We are looking for an experienced care assistants to working within a residential service in Dronfield where the residents have their own flats within the building and the care provider provides a “community service within the building”.

The residents are semi-independent but the role will involve the usually level of personal care similar to community care, you will also administer medication where required, assist with meal preparation, domestic duties and some shopping trips in the local community. Some of the double-up residents do require assisted moving with hoists and other moving aids. The site runs scheduled service calls and ad-hoc visits as required by the residents.

Hourly Rate: You will be paid £11.44 per hour with an enhancement to £15.22 per hour for unsociable hours worked between 19:00 to 07:00.
Working Hours: You will be working either 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00 on days from Monday through to Sunday, with weekend working required on a regular basis.

Experience & Qualifications

To be suitable for this position you must have:

– An Enhanced DBS Certificate that is registered on the update service
– Up to date mandatory training certificates
– Full up-to-date CV
– At least 2 professional references covering a minimum of 2 years working within formal care settings or community care.
